Today I prove myself time and again as one of the top favorites in prize downhill races. With my typical moustache fluttering in the wind, I leave many parties far behind me. I am known for launching the attack at the most unexpected moments in a prize race. My secret? Of course I prefer to keep that to myself. Anyone who can tempt me to a pint in the local cycling café after a successful Sunday stage with fellow cycling tourists and enthusiasts, sometimes gets a short 'buy big – sell small' out of me, but that's it …

The secret doesn't really matter. Thanks to my brand new webshop, so many amateurs, semi-pros and even pros ride with high-quality clothing , accessories and parts from well-known cycling brands (such as ALÉ, DT Swiss, Elite, Q36.5, Ranking, Shimano, etc.) around so that you don't hear anyone complain. And my full moustache, well, it curls with pride at the sight of all those sportsmen and their love for 'the Race'.

'In life you have to go for it!', or go for it . But since this is about sports, I changed my motto over time to sport for it , and that became the name of the webshop.

Have I ever been a pro myself? No, not really. Maybe I could have been. But that was not my ambition. Born and raised in the picturesque East Flemish Berlare – which was voted 'Village of the Tour' in 2017, 2018 and 2019 – the cycling virus quickly bit me. From a young age, I could be spotted along the routes of both international and regional cycling competitions, cheering like a madman and always dressed in my striking, light green cycling gear. The 'Classics' and the 'Monuments' in particular have always had a special place in my heart. And so, of course, the desire to share that passion with others grew.

To have a successful cycling experience, you need to have the right equipment. As a teenager, I tried to convey that philosophy by working in a local bike shop. Later, I inevitably started my own business. Due to my infectious cycling enthusiasm and many visits to races, my network was considerable and this enterprise turned out to be an immediate success. To this day, the saying goes in racing circles: 'If you want cycling gear, you should contact Willy de Koereur.'

And that's how I came to have my own cycling webshop, where I offer great deals every day and week for anyone who wants to tear up the road with quality products.
